The Carlson/Kerr & Branson Project
Recently the team at the Academy of Wedding and Event Planning were inspired by the film Julie & Julia and one woman’s determination to succeed. This is an admirable quality and one you will definitely need in your journey as a wedding or event planner. So inspired were we that we have decided to set a challenge of our own and invite you all to come along for the ride.
Both Christine and I have always been personally inspired by entrepreneurs of any type, especially those who have started with nothing more than an idea. And there are none in our eyes who measure up to the amazing success that is Richard Branson. So, we hereby set ourselves a challenge which from now on in will be called the Carlson & Kerr/Branson Project.
Our challenge - to post 365 consecutive daily tips for those in the business of wedding planning, styling & design on a dedicated Facebook Page. The project will commence on November 15 2009 and finish on November 14 2010.
The Outcome - to have a book which includes these tips for budding wedding planners which Richard Branson will help us to publish & promote.
